About Us
The owners and employees at Castle Gap Jewelry have always been heavily involved in the community by supporting local school and church organizations.  In addition, we host trunk shows and sale events each year which benefit a wide variety of charities.  Below you will find brief information about some of these events along with links to the charities they benefit.

Wednesday's Child

On October 1, 2009 we are participating in Plaza Style '09.  A fashion show and event created and hosted by The Plaza at Preston Center where our store is located.  Castle Gap Jewelry is providing jewelry for the show and donated a one-of-a-kind necklace for the silent auction.  All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Wednesday’s Child, the only local organization that provides funds to fulfill the specific needs of North Texas foster children when no one else can or will so they are able to have as normal a childhood as possible.

The Family Place

Each year since the begining of the program, Castle Gap Jewelry has participated in the Partner's Card program benefiting The Family Place where abused spouses and children may take refuge and receive help.

American Indian College Fund

On October 9-11, 2009 we will be hosting a SuperSmith trunk show with co-owner and designer John Delgado.  We will doante 10% of all sales during those three days to the American Indian College Fund.  Since Castle Gap specializes in Native American handmade jewelry, this is a way for us to give back to the people that provide us with such amazing wearable art.  This will be our first event benefiting the AICF, but it certainly will not be our last!

North Texas Food Bank

Each February we hold a can food drive benefiting the North Texas Food Bank.  Customer's receive 20% off their entire purchase in exchange for a donation of canned food.  After the holidays, the food banks are dangerously low and we enjoy doing our part to help refill them.
