Zuni - Born in 1928, Effie Callavaza began making jewelry in 1955 after learning her craft from her husband, Juan Callavaza.  She is known for her signature snake designs using sandcast sterling silver accented with stampwork and nuggets of turquoise and/or coral.  This award winning artist creates nearly all form of jewelry including bolos, cuff bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings, watchbands and much more.

Turquoise & Coral Pendant

The sterling silver teardrop pendant has the artists signature snake design with coral eyes, red coral and turquoise, intricate stampwork and silver bead accents.  The turquoise stone is bright blue with black matrix.  The end of the snakes tail forms the bale and accommodates up to a 1/8" diameter necklace.  The pendant measures approximately 7/8" wide x 1 5/8" long, 1 7/8" long with the bale.  Signed by the artist.
