Lupe Lovato has been making jewelry for over 30 years.  He lives and works in the Santo Domingo Pueblo village.  Lupe mostly works in spiney oyster shell, Kingman turquoise and Nacozari turquoise, but will also use Chinese turquoie when those are not available.

Purple Spiny Necklace

The 25 1/2" long graduated purple spiny oyster shell necklace has a center fan tab design.  The necklace is finished with sterling silver cones and a hook and eye clasp.  The rondells are graduated from approximately 1/4" to 1/2" wide and the center fan measures 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/8" long.
