About Us

Castle Gap Jewelry is a family owned and operated business based in the Dallas, Texas area.  The store was established in 1973 by Maxine and Scotty Bennett, mother and son, and they were joined later by Charlotte Bennett, Scotty's wife, and Beverly Bennett, Maxine's daughter.  All four owners are very much involved and present in each store daily which benefits our customers by providing you with a more personal touch than most shopping experiences.

Quality Statement :

All jewelry is genuine sterling silver.  Many pieces we offer are handcrafted and may vary slightly in shape, size, design and color (especially custom order pieces such as SuperSmith).  These variations reflect the influence of the artists and natural stones and add to the beauty and value of the items.  Additionally, as some of the products are handmade at the time of order, we will occasionally be delayed in shipping your order.  Your order will be expedited as soon as possible.  Please bear with us as it will be worth your wait.

Castle Gap is named after a historical park in west Texas.  According to folklore, treasure was buried there belonging to Emperor Maximilian of Mexico.  Over many years countless people have ventured to Castle Gap in search of those riches.  The owners of Castle Gap Jewelry named it after the state park because customers can find untold treasure within the doors here at Castle Gap Jewelry.
